EXHILARATING!! Decided to book this tour to try something different. Jeremy was AWESOME!! He picked us up, was very warm and friendly, and ready to show us a great time. We really enjoyed the excursion, and appreciated Jeremy's guidance as my partner maneuvered the jeep in different terrains while I ate snacks and enjoyed the scenery! It was fascinating learning so much about the area and the trails. Jeremy was very experienced and knowledgeable which made us feel at ease and very comfortable. Overall, we definitely enjoyed trying something different and will consider other tours provided by CampDads!!

Perfect Trails and Camping Overnighter Cannot really commit to a favorite. Amazing views, really cool off road obstacles, great camping and camp fire. What can I say? It’s just a super fun overall experience. Jeremy knows the trails really well. He’s professional and doesn’t miss a single detail. He knows the capabilities of his fleet and he’ll show you some amazing feats. Seeing first hand what a good off road vehicle can really do is mind blowing.

Otay.......OK! We had an awesome time with Jeremy! I went with a group that included my brother and father. This was our first time off-roading. Jeremy was the perfect person to do this with. He is patient, provides a lot of instruction, and has a calm voice, which aided in providing confidence at times when we needed. The jeeps are well equipped and have radios, which he used to check up on us throughout the trip. Jeremy has expert knowledge of the area and the course. This is a must do if you're interested in doing something different in San Diego. Navigating a gravel road on the side of a mountain is part of the experience. Good to know for those that are afraid of heights. Totally doable, I did it and I'm somewhat afraid of heights. I would and will do this again. Go Campdads!

An Experience you won't forget Jeremy led us on an epic vacation traveling through some of the must see overlanding spots in Utah and Colorado. Traveling with the CampDads group offered the safety of having experienced drivers to lead the group and help with any hiccups long the way. Which there were, and they were all handled safely by the team. Being able to troubleshoot equipment failures on a trip like that is very important and the CampDads trip offered great learning experiences for everyone. The route planning took into account the capabilities of all vehicles on the trip to ensure everyone could navigate the trails safely. There were 3 of us in my car including my toddler and all of us had a great time. Being relatively new to this type of trip Jeremy kept communication with me in the lead up to reassure myself that the rig could do it. I would say this 2 week trip gave me around 2-3 years worth of experience and knowledge had I continued to do this on my own. I met friends that I have already been in contact with on 2 separate trips in the 6 weeks since I have returned back across the country home. CampDads offers exceptional experiences, for a novice overlander this is a must. For a seasoned overlander/crawler it would still be a great time. I hope to watch CampDads evolve even further. Amazing views of San Diego and Tijuana This was an amazing off-road adventure we got to see so many neat things. The tour guide was so knowledgeable about the area and all the areas we were looking at out into the distance. I would highly recommend this adventure.

Let loose on this 4x4 experience! Fantastic experience! A great way to get away from the crowds and enjoy breath taking views. Jeremy was a great guide! The entire family had a blast!

Invaluable Education and More Fun Than a Truckload of monkeys A little over a year ago I bought my first truck. My intent was just to get a more reliable vehicle for road trips and family adventures into the mountains, ski trips, etc. It quickly re-ignited my interest in the great outdoors. I had done lots of camping, backpacking, hiking etc but I had been hearing a lot about this overloading thing. I thought, wow, it's like backpacking with your vehicle. My backpacking days were when I was much younger and didn't have kids. The thought of backpacking with my 7 year old sounded like I'd be carrying a lot of gear. However, with Overlanding I might be able to get a similar experience without carrying all the gear on my back. To get some experience to driving my new truck off-road my wife contacted CampDads and booked me for an introductory day of wheelin'. It was a pretty good anniversary gift. What a great experience! I met my guide near the trailhead along with a couple of other participants. He spent some time going over some safety and equipment guidelines, explained what kind of route were were taking, and helped us get our rigs dialed in for the ride. Then we hit the trail. It started out as just a somewhat bumpy ride as we climbed up near the top. Then we stopped to talk about what was ahead. The route got way more interesting after that. The rest of the day was filled with beautiful views, tons of new information about using my rig to get out and explore, some adrenaline pumping moments, and great conversation. If I could take CampDads with me on all of my off-road adventures I would. I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and created some great memories.
