Invaluable Education and More Fun Than a Truckload of monkeys A little over a year ago I bought my first truck. My intent was just to get a more reliable vehicle for road trips and family adventures into the mountains, ski trips, etc. It quickly re-ignited my interest in the great outdoors. I had done lots of camping, backpacking, hiking etc but I had been hearing a lot about this overloading thing. I thought, wow, it's like backpacking with your vehicle. My backpacking days were when I was much younger and didn't have kids. The thought of backpacking with my 7 year old sounded like I'd be carrying a lot of gear. However, with Overlanding I might be able to get a similar experience without carrying all the gear on my back. To get some experience to driving my new truck off-road my wife contacted CampDads and booked me for an introductory day of wheelin'. It was a pretty good anniversary gift. What a great experience! I met my guide near the trailhead along with a couple of other participants. He spent some time going over some safety and equipment guidelines, explained what kind of route were were taking, and helped us get our rigs dialed in for the ride. Then we hit the trail. It started out as just a somewhat bumpy ride as we climbed up near the top. Then we stopped to talk about what was ahead. The route got way more interesting after that. The rest of the day was filled with beautiful views, tons of new information about using my rig to get out and explore, some adrenaline pumping moments, and great conversation. If I could take CampDads with me on all of my off-road adventures I would. I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and created some great memories.

Otay.......OK! We had an awesome time with Jeremy! I went with a group that included my brother and father. This was our first time off-roading. Jeremy was the perfect person to do this with. He is patient, provides a lot of instruction, and has a calm voice, which aided in providing confidence at times when we needed. The jeeps are well equipped and have radios, which he used to check up on us throughout the trip. Jeremy has expert knowledge of the area and the course. This is a must do if you're interested in doing something different in San Diego. Navigating a gravel road on the side of a mountain is part of the experience. Good to know for those that are afraid of heights. Totally doable, I did it and I'm somewhat afraid of heights. I would and will do this again. Go Campdads!

Our best experience while on vacation! We took the road less traveled and that made all the difference. The adventure was truly better than advertised. We discovered We were filled with extreme excitement throughout the entire tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the terrain and history of the area we toured. The next time we are back in San Diego we will do this tour again!

A great time My family and I just got back from an afternoon out with Jeremy. We had our 6 and 10 year old boys with us, and they had a great time. This is a very approachable entry into jeep 4x4 using capable and comfortable vehicles. Can't recommend this enough if you want to try something a bit more adrenalin filled than the average tour. Big Bear 4x Fun ! Big Bear has tons of great trails and excellent camping. CampDads Big Bear 4x4 adventure is a great tour of the area. We did everything from hardcore rock crawling to mild camp roads. We crossed streams, 4x’d near vertical inclines, swam in the lake, ate well, and had fun by the camp fire. Jeremy is a long time outdoor adventurer and knows exactly what he’s doing. His very trustworthy dude and all around great guide. Absolutely recommended!

Southwest Trip - Campdads Went on a Southwest tour (multi-day) with my son. Hit Arizona, Utah, and Colorado. We almost could not go, but ended up going. Super glad we did! It was a blast! Great time with my son, and the trip was very well planned. All we had to do was listen where to go and everything else was figured out.Would highly recommend.

Amazing It was really fun. Jeremy was awesome! We rode the grand Cherokee. We used radios to communicate. So fun
