Best Adrenaline Packed Adventure in San Diego This was the funnest adventure we’ve had in years! One of the funnest local adventures we’ve recently had was joining Jeremy from Campdads on a guided 4x4 off-roading experience to the top of Otay Mountain. The views were absolutely breathtaking and the ride to the top of the mountain was exhilarating. The best part we’re the challenges over giant boulders near gut wrenching cliffs. It’s the perfect adrenaline packed adventure for the whole family!

Whole family Fun I have always loved adventure and nature exploration. I’ve done a few 4x4 exploration with friends (none behind the wheels). This was the best thing we did as a family in San Diego. The whole family including kids (3,5,10) loved it. The view you catch from the trials are amazing. Jeremy is very experienced in gauging the comfort level of the driver and paces accordingly. I loved the rig (2001 grand Cherokee with a modest left and great tires). We will definitely be visiting back.

Invaluable Education and More Fun Than a Truckload of monkeys A little over a year ago I bought my first truck. My intent was just to get a more reliable vehicle for road trips and family adventures into the mountains, ski trips, etc. It quickly re-ignited my interest in the great outdoors. I had done lots of camping, backpacking, hiking etc but I had been hearing a lot about this overloading thing. I thought, wow, it's like backpacking with your vehicle. My backpacking days were when I was much younger and didn't have kids. The thought of backpacking with my 7 year old sounded like I'd be carrying a lot of gear. However, with Overlanding I might be able to get a similar experience without carrying all the gear on my back. To get some experience to driving my new truck off-road my wife contacted CampDads and booked me for an introductory day of wheelin'. It was a pretty good anniversary gift. What a great experience! I met my guide near the trailhead along with a couple of other participants. He spent some time going over some safety and equipment guidelines, explained what kind of route were were taking, and helped us get our rigs dialed in for the ride. Then we hit the trail. It started out as just a somewhat bumpy ride as we climbed up near the top. Then we stopped to talk about what was ahead. The route got way more interesting after that. The rest of the day was filled with beautiful views, tons of new information about using my rig to get out and explore, some adrenaline pumping moments, and great conversation. If I could take CampDads with me on all of my off-road adventures I would. I learned a lot, had a ton of fun, and created some great memories.

Best rock climbing driving experience Best experience we've had! Host was real cool and a great guide when certain spots we weren't sure how to get through he'd guide us really well! Would recommend highly for an experience and a great view!

Great Times Well Worth it! I've had the pleasure of joining Camp Dads for three 4x4 trips now,Corral Canyon(Espinosa trail, & sidewinder), Valley of the Moons, and Otay truck trails. Each time has been an amazing experience for my family and I. my kids love the nature experience, and the 4x4 fun. Beautiful scenery, breathtaking views, and great company. Highly recommend checking Camp Dads out.

Very Good - Very Fun! Jeremy was an excellent host. I have done two trips with him - both were great. He knows the terrain and territory extremely well - mapped out and scouted ahead of time. Would highly recommend.

Awesome and totally worth the money!! I chose the advanced tour. In that tour you go over a section that only one car can do at once. You are shown the line to take and directed through it. It was a lot of fun. The rigs they use are very capable.

Dope Super dope guy would definitely recommend going with him. He makes everything super easy and is super nice with all he does.
