Members from the region’s off-road and overland communities converge for a Christmas celebration like no other, donning their vehicles with decorations and setting out their camp gear for all to see and experience.

CampDads and volunteers from BMW will provide a holiday meal for all in attendance, topping off the evening with a movie by campfire and s’mores & hot chocolate.

What to expect at this Off-Road Social…
Off-Road Socials are purposeful gatherings to bring together like-minded off-road & overland enthusiasts to experience a weekend outdoors, camping, wheeling and chilling. Our Christmas Off-Road Social however, is to benefit a local charity and provide a fun and interactive event for those whom we are supporting. Front Porch Housing is the designated organization chosen for the Christmas event as we can bless families who are in transition and have made a commitment to improving their life situation.
We will accomplish this by donating our time, talent and treasure in a meaningful way. Rather than a simple toy drive, we are aiming to make this memorable by opening up our vehicles and camp gear to display, let kids climb around and ask questions, and to donate resources much more impactful than a toy.
We are asking for donations that will engage and allow these families to experience time together and meet some basic needs. Examples of donation items for this event:
- Gift certificates for local experiences
- Zoo and Children’s Museum passes
- Funding for YMCA youth sports
- Food for the on-site food pantry
- Jackets, gloves & warm clothes
- School supplies for second semester
- Art supplies for winter camp
- Games and supplies
- Cash/Gift Card Donations
- Stockings (small toys/essential items)
About Front Porch Housing
Front Porch Housing is a three-year supportive housing program designed to help individuals and families in need build a firm foundation with the goals of continued sobriety, gainful employment, financial independence, and spiritual maturity.
